The 'EduDrone - WE CONNECT' team was back in action on Sunday, the 20th of June, 2021 with yet again an exciting, informative and involving session for Educators, students and parents.
The Topic for this week's session was, 'Interesting and Engaging Online learning tools'. The session comprised of very resourceful and experienced panel of members from the field of education comprising of Mr. Shekhar Jain, CEO, On My Own Technology, Innovation, Research, Robotics & Coding for K12 and Mr.Bezad Shroff, Director, Adventure Education, Mumbai as Presenters for the session alongwith
• Dr.Rupali Dhamdhere, Principal, Trinity International School, Pune.
• Ms.Monika Chhabra, Principal, MITCON International School, Pune.
• Ms. Arpita Ghosh, Life Coach, Motivational Speaker, Sr. Counselor - CHRIST University Lavasa.
as speakers for the session.
Ms.Kajal Chattija, Executive Director, Gayatri English Med. School and Founder - EduDrone - WE CONNECT, Pune, the Master for the session, started the session with welcoming of the panelists and their introduction to the audiences.
The session began with Mr. Shekhar Jain expressing his views about modernization in education with the amalgamation of technologies like the Augmented and Virtual reality branches of Artificial Intelligence as an upfront learning for kids of present generation and how the 'On My Own Technology' team cater to this need of students to enhance the new learning domains.
The session was then handed over to Ms. Farhana Almel, Chief Creative Officer of 'EduDrone - WE CONNECT', for further moderation. Ms Farhana welcomed the audiences with warm wishes of International Father's Day through an heart touching poem dedicated to all Fathers and further explaining the motive and vision of the 'EduDrone - WE CONNECT' platform.
Taking the session ahead, the dice was handed over to Mr.Bezad Shroff, were he spoke about the various extravaganzas and innovative workshops conducted by Team- 'Adventure Education' to inculcate and embrace the policies under the National NEP 2020 and UN sustainable goals combined together to upskill future generation kids at international level of education.
Further, the spotlight was focused on Dr. Rupali Dhamdhere, were she explained the educators the need for modification in traditional lesson plans in regular classroom teaching and the need of technology in every classroom, in every student's and teacher’s hand, because it is the pen and paper of our time, and it is the lens through which we experience much of our world in present day scenario.
The next speaker of the session was Ms. Monika Chhabra, were she threw light on exploring new ways and variations in teaching with the with help of varied user friendly applications and urging teachers to think beyond textbooks for concept development in student education. Educators should be instrumental, using adaptive Online platforms enhancing engaging learning environment.
The last speaker for the session was Ms.Arpita Ghosh. Through her vast experience and knowledge in the educational field, Ms.Arpita explained the importance of emotional intelligence along with academic intelligence for students. Through a beautiful story, Ms.Arpita explained the aspect of constant comparison among humans and how we, as individuals should feel unique about ourselves and explore new horizons in life.
The session was then followed by an engaging question and answer round along with positive feedbacks from the audiences. The panel members and moderator were then felicitated by Senior and active member of Edudrone, Mr.Sanjeev Kumar.
With a wish to meet soon, Ms.Kajal Chattija, thanked all the members for attending the virtual session with packed house yet again.
