New Delhi : Early Childhood Development Forum organized the Global Educators Workshop and Awards 2023 on 25th March (Saturday) in The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi.
Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya, Early Childhood Expert, Founder Chairperson of ECDF, and MD of Tender Petals Preschools, said that “The main aim of organizing the Global Educators Workshop 2023 is to provide insightful perspectives on multiple approaches to Early Childhood Development by early childhood experts from the national and international arena.”
This Global Educators Workshop was designed to bring together national and international early childhood education leaders who conducted hands-on workshops on topics such as ‘Designing Calm Engaging Classrooms Using the Brain SET Environment Formula’ by Dr. Kathryn Murray, Global Presenter, and CEO at Future Strong Education, Australia, ’Play Based Learning in Early Years – Real Time Implementation and Impact’ by Simran Ballani, Pedagogical Director & Communications Head at Council for Creative Education (CCE) Finland, ‘Brain Development in Early Years: An Insight into Neuroscience’ by Amrit Nagpal, Education Consultant and ‘the Unique Child’ by Dr. Sue Allingham, Founder Early Years Out of the Box Consultancy, UK.
A panel session on the topic ‘The Integrated Approach: Giving Children a meaningful Learning Experience’ moderated by Smriti Agarwal, had Dr. Vasavvi Acharjya Founder Chairperson and MD Tender Petals Preschools, Veena Raizada, Dr. Nidhi Khurana and Neha Seth as panelists. The discussion touched upon National Education Policy (NEP) and the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) which lays emphasis on an integrated curriculum for children. The event focused on the latest developments in the domain of early childhood education and was very timely planned as the NEP was passed in Parliament last week.
The event had Gagandeep Singh, Director of EU Media and Dr. Rabiaah’ Bhatia Founder Director eD WebStudio Channel as the Guests of Honour.
The sessions were followed by the EDCF Earth Literacy Awards (3rd Edition) which honoured the remarkable work and contribution of School Leaders, Principals, Educators, and Institutions in the domain of Early Childhood Care and Education, in different categories.
The event was attended by early years educators and school leaders from different parts of the country who had a glimpse of global perspectives of early childhood education from international speakers.
