With fresh COVID-19 cases rapidly increasing across the country, many states have released new set of guidelines and restrictions. Among the first step is the closure of schools, colleges and all other educational institutions. Delhi was the first to announce the closure of all schools in the city as it witnessed the surge, followed by Haryana. So far, schools in Mumbai, Jharkhand, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, etc. have also been closed. There are other district level closure in schools in many states including Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra.
Karnataka, which is also witnessing a sharp surge, is also contemplating the extend of restrictions. As per the reports, Karnataka CM would be chairing an emergency meeting today to discuss the same as cases have surged in the state, with the chunk in Bengaluru.
