'Maharashtra SSC supplementary 2019 results to be announced this week, not today'

The result of supplementary examination of secondary school certificate (SSC, std XII) XII will be declared online by Maharashtra state board of secondary and higher secondary education this week online. The students can log in to www.mahresult.nic.in to access their results.

Speaking exclusively with TOI, Ravikant Deshpande, Nagpur divisional board chairman, said the result will come in two or three days.

The state board had conducted supplementary exams for HSC from July 17 to August 3, 2019. Maharashtra SSC Supplementary Exams were conducted from July 17 to July 30, 2019.

The supplementary exams are conducted for students who had failed their subjects during the regular board exam in February-March.

After the declaration of the Maharashtra SSC supplementary results, the students, who wish to re-evaluate the marks obtained after the online results, can apply at respective divisional boards. The students have to pay fee and attach the copy of the marksheet by taking a print out of the online marksheet.

The students who want to obtain the photocopy of the answer sheets need to apply at respective divisional board along with the print out of marksheet and requisite fee.

If a student wishes to apply for revaluation of the answer sheets of the supplementary examination held between July-August, he or she has to compulsorily take the photocopy of the answer sheet. After getting the photocopy, the student can apply the very next day till five days of getting the photo copy along with regular fee. For more information, the student needs to contact the respective divisional board.

In the year 2018, the success rate of the secondary school certificate (SSC, std X) supplementary examination had dipped marginally in comparison to the year 2017 as only 23.66 per cent students passed the exam in Maharashtra.

Around 1.21 lakh students had appeared for the exam and 28,645 cleared it, the pass percentage stood to 23.66% - showed a decline of 0.78 % against last year's results.
