To provide proper guidance to the school children of New Delhi, a 2.5 hours complimentary career counselling session is being organized on December 17, 2021.

The Independent Career Counsellors will conduct the session. The programme aims at giving proper direction to the students of class 9 to class 12, their parents and teachers. Students from various schools of Delhi NCR will register for the session, where they will be engaged in an exercise of exploring the emerging career avenues and available choices of education in the future. The session will include a workshop followed by an aptitude test for the students and individual counselling for a bright and promising future.

Speaking to Media, Mrs Sunanda Rao, Managing Editor Career Beacon, said: "Career Beacon is committed towards shaping the future of all its stakeholders. There are vast career options available today and students need guidance on the same. I am sure that a platform like this will help not only the students but also the parents to guide their children better in choosing career of a lifetime".

Mrs Kavita Rai, Associate Editor Career Beacon, and Career experts emphasized that exploration of careers is of utmost importance and took everyone through a paradigm shift on the choice of employment in today's times.

Speaking to media persons, the Interns of Career Hackathon'21 shared that this part of the event as a Career Guidance session will introduce students and parents to various emerging career streams. For example, as Data Scientist, Defence, and other management/organization based careers, creative careers, physical and outdoor Careers, and other unconventional career options.

This session aims to debunk common misconceptions associated with choosing streams and careers and emphasizes 'WHY NOT' to choose specific career options.

NCCN is a self volunteered network of Career Counsellors who are on a mission to impact 1.3 Million youth by the end of 2022. Today National Career Counsellors Network has over 2500+ certified Career Counsellors. This network idea was conceived over a 'Chai ki Tapri' during a generic discussion, and today it grew to 2500 certified career professionals with a zero investment.

Career Beacon is the dream child of a student who wanted to bring Career Awareness in the form of content to reach out to the people who cannot afford paid Career Counselling. It started with blogs followed by articles, and then a Bi-Monthly Magazine.
