New Delhi : A virtual celebration of BAISAKHI was held on 13th April 2021 at Ramjas School RK Puram, Delhi. On this occasion children of class 1 were dressed in Punjabi attire during the class.
The celebration started with a prayer i.e paath conducted by a Sikh parent followed by teacher explaining and showing video about the festival to understand the significance of it.
Children enjoyed participating in the activities like kite making and depicting one of the main crop cultivated in Punjab using grains.
The celebration ended
with an energetic bhangra performance by little ones.
