MY India, My Pride
To inculcate in students, the appreciation and respect for their own motherland and it’s rich heritage and diversity, the school celebrated ‘My India, My Pride’ Activity. The day was marked with exuberance, enjoyment and festivity.
Students of classes I - II lit up the atmosphere by their Folk dance and Classical dance performances. The colorful ethnic attires enthralled the audience with their expressions and moves. Class III, too mesmerized everyone with their enactments on Indian Folktales of India and left the audience spell bound with their acting skills.
The students of classes IV to VIII celebrated the spirit of nationalism through their mellifluous renditions. Each house showcased their mastery over voice modulation, rhythm and other important aspects of singing. The glittering costumes added to the finesse.
The esteemed judge for the day, Dr. Gunjan Jha, Cultural Secretary, DOE Zone 22 praised the endeavour and appreciated the efforts of the school in keeping the spirit of solidarity and love for the country alive through such celebrations.
