Ramjas Foundation Hosts India's Biggest School Level Basketball Tournament RBCL 2019
Let's go through this mega sports Event's History
Ramjas Basketball Champion's League (RBCL) was recognised by Delhi Basketball association in August 1995 and is affiliated to it. In the last three years, they have take Primary level students into their fold, thus widening the scope and ambit of the tournament. It has kindled an early interest and will yield far-reaching results. The world class Basketball courts, sponsord by the KDCF, have become a veritable hot bed for training and creating future world level players.
The monumental efforts of the school bore fruit, when they proudly welcomed the top ranking and The Most Valuable Player of NBA USA, Mr. Kevin Durant, amidst them on 28th July 2017. Mr. Jason Richardson, another top player of NBA and a dunk specialist also visited the School.
The Carlos Barroca, (Junior NBA Head, India) provided relentless support to their cause. They Suceeded in creating a lot of buzz when Mr Ranvijay Singh Singha, the anchor of famous reality show "Rodies" from MTV made an appearance. It reaffirmed their commitment to "Sports for Youth" as a channel for imbibing life skills.
The Tournament has completed 25 glorious years. They are now all set to create history of sorts by opening the tournament to Schools Pan India and will reach out to international community and make it a grand success.
