Ramjas Basketball Champions League 2018

The most prestigious inter-school basketball tournament Ramjas Basketball Champions League (RBCL), hosted by Ramjas School R.K. Puram is played amongst the leading schools of the capital and NCR. It has grown to become the largest tournament in India at school level. The tournament is recognized by elite organisations. It is a delight to watch over 2,000 young sports enthusiasts from all zones of Delhi and NCR fighting it out for the coveted trophy. RESULTS The first position was bagged by- Senior Category BOYS - Government Multipurpose Senior Secondary School, Patiala GIRLS - DPS, Mathura Road Junior Category BOYS - Bal Bharti Public School, Ganga Ram Marg GIRLS - DPS, R.K. Puram The closing ceremony for the 24th edition of RBCL was held on 4th December, 2018 at Ramjas School, R.K. Puram. It was a great honour for the school to have Joint Commissioner Shri Ajay Chaudhary as the Chief Guest. The guests of honour for the program Shri J.S. Waraich, Head Corporate Sports, ONGC, Shri Anil Sharma, Ex. MLA R.K. Puram, Ex. Mayor Delhi and District President, New Delhi - BJP, Shri Bhagat Singh Tokas, Nigam Parishad and Chairman Health Committee, SDMC applauded the efforts of the students. The Chairman of Ramjas School R.K. Puram, Mr. Ravi Kumar Gupta and the School Manager Mr. Rajnath Gupta graced the occasion. The Principal, convener of the tournament congratulated all the participants and stressed on the role of sports in shaping the personality of the youth. She also said that the tournament will very soon be taken from national to international level. The closing ceremony also saw the performance of the Delhi Police Band. The students of Ramjas School R.K. Puram sang the melodious group song and performed a mesmerising dance.
