NEW DELHI: Today, December 31, the Nagaland Pre-Matric Scholarship 2022 online registration platform will be shut down by the Directorate of School Education, Nagaland. Through the website scholarship.nagaland.gov.in, students in Class 9 and Class 10 can complete the online enrollment process. On November 21, 2022, the online registration period for the Nagaland Pre-Matric Scholarship 2022 opened.
The state-level e-application portal will be used to verify applications from January 1 through January 31, 2023. The department has asked the students to upload a few required documents to the state portal in order for the scheme to be implemented smoothly. These documents include the Scheduled Tribe (SC) certificate, the income certificate, the mark sheet from the previous exam, the adhaar card, the student's passport photo, the front page of their bank passbook, and the admission receipt.
The student must fall under the ST category and cannot already be receiving a pre-matricular scholarship from the government. He or she should be a regular student attending government-approved private or public schools. This scholarship is available to both new and returning students whose parents' or guardians' annual income from all sources is less than Rs. 2 lakhs.
The completed application must be given to the head of the institution the candidates are currently attending or last attended, who will subsequently convey it to the sanctioning body.
