Every year on May 4, International Firefighters' Day is marked to honour the efforts and sacrifice of our firefighting experts.
In order to raise awareness about fire safety, students in grades 3 through 5 watched videos about fire safety, the usage of fire engines, and the use of fire extinguishers. They also went to the corners of the school where the fire extinguishers were situated. They also created fire engines, signs about fire safety, and flyers depicting the proper technique to use fire extinguishers.
It was, undoubtedly, a learning experience for the youngsters.
