NCSC chairman Vijay Sampla claimed that atrocities against Dalits in Rajasthan have gone up and the commission will hold a review meeting of various departments of the state government in Jaipur on August 24-25.
Jaipur: A complaint involving alleged discrimination during the distribution of midday meals in some schools in Rajasthan has been received by the National Commission for Scheduled Castes (NCSC). The NCSC will host a review meeting of several state government departments in Jaipur on August 24 and 25, according to NCSC Chairman Vijay Sampla, who alleged that crimes against Dalits in Rajasthan had increased.
According to the allegation, when midday meals were served, the schools set aside separate seating for pupils from Scheduled Castes (SC), Mr. Sampla informed reporters. I learned that individuals from the SC community aren't permitted to make midday meals in some schools at a program of the All India SC/ST Welfare Association, he added.
