Working in the capacity of IT Head in Vikas Bharati Public School since 2007. With Masters in Computer Science. A store house of fresh ideas and profound knowledge I have established myself as an innovator through the research and implementation of directory of accessible software for supporting teachers.

Teacher professional development encourages teachers to be active participants in their own learning, and ensures that students and teachers alike are eager to learn. By providing learning and support for teachers of not only my school but also other teachers from the community I helped them to grow professionally so that students of my country as a whole are benefited.
I have been playing substantial role in enrichment of curriculum & pedagogy by ICT tools for teaching and learning needed for the digital world for higher studies and gainful employment, promoting critical thinking and analytical skills.
Critical Thinking is self-monitored, self-corrective thinking that mandates rational, unbiased evaluation of factual evidence, which, in turn guides, one to take a particular course of action.
Building and honing critical thinking skills is one of the key takeaways of learning coding. Seeing the future requirement, I started teaching coding to students on various platforms like MakeCode, Hour of Code, Python, RobotC etc.
Not only this I also initiated to teach coding without using computer to kids of grade 1 to 3 via different types of unplugged activities.
I got an opportunity to showcase the AI based project titled “My personal speech Therapist” to Mr Satya Nadella in Young Innovators Summit in Feb 2020.
I also mentored a group of students to develop an AI project on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and the project got IInd Runner Up in AI for Good India Challenge.
The project #Ease4Peace also got IInd Runner Up in Tech For Good E2 Global Challenge. #Ease4Peace was a collaborative project with 3 more teachers with me. This project aimed to spread kindness, Empathy with the help of technology.
I have authored 4 series of textbooks “Digital World”, "My personal Computer" ,"Computer Browser" and “Coding with Computers” for grades I-VIII. The books are being recommended in more than 100 schools throughout India. I won The Best Teacher Award by IIHM, Adobe Ambassador Award and even represented my school in E2 Singapore. I had also won many awards for the projects in ICT innovative teaching. Recently I was awarded for Enhancing Student voice and AI Project for hearing and speech impairment by Microsoft. Took the initiative to start STEAM education in the school since 6 years, where children were educated beyond text books bestowing knowledge with Robotics using VEX and BBC: MICROBIT kits, Arduino, Game Designing (using Kodu, Minecraft, etc)and Graphic Design for classes III-XI.
I believe in “Learning never ends” therefore I keep on upgrading myself to adapt to the changes in the technology.
Qualified MTA (Microsoft Technology Associate)- Python, MCE (Microsoft certified Educator), MOS (Word), MIEE 2016, MIEE 2017, MIEE 2018, MIEE 2019, MIEE 2020, MIEE Fellow, Microsoft Master Trainer 2020-2021.
Selected as CleverBook Ambassador, Adobe Creative Educator, Adobe Creative Ambassador, Wakelet Ambassador, Book Creator Certified Author, Winner of Catalyst Challenge conducted by Plezmo and Niti Aayog in September 2020.
Awarded with Flipgrid voice pod for securing First position in the Global Teacher Challenge for covering maximum facts in 60 seconds by Flipgrid.
Developed software (Result Maker for PreSchool to Class XII) to facilitate management of the educational system, as well as addressing specific learning needs and requirements of young learners & teachers.
In the end I would like to reiterate the quote by William Pollard that without change there is no innovation , creativity or incentive for improvement. Those who initiate change will have a better opportunity to mange the change that is inevitable.

learning is important but so is all of you. Take care of yourself and each other (from a safe distance of course). A diamond doesn't start out polished and shining. It once was nothing special, but with enough pressure and time, becomes spectacular. All of you are that diamond. And, no matter what happens this year, be proud of yourself, your resilience, and your ability to adapt to extreme circumstances will help you shine like a diamond. So believe in yourself surely this tough time will also pass.
