Lokseva e School hosted School Principals Meet in association with Indo Science Education Trust, Nivedita Madkikar Foundation and Research Institute and EduDrone - WE CONNECT.
The programme served as a platform to generate awareness for a project, BhaVishiKa for the creation and launch of a wholly students made working satellite by 2026 under the expert guidance of former ISRO scientists. Mrs. Kajal Chhatija, Founder, Executive Director, Gayatri School, welcomed the guest of honour and principals. She created a lot of curiosity by announcing, Mission Satellite 2026, Made in India involving 500 students from the schools of Maharashtra.
Mrs. Geetika Berry introduced and welcomed the guest of honour, Mr. MC Uttam, Deputy Director, VSSC / ISRO, Hon. Director, ISRO-UoP, SpaceTechnology Cell Savitribai Phule Pune University. He shared his inspirational journey of being with the brightest minds of India having worked closely under the guidance of Vikram Sarabhai, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam and more illustrious names in the history of Indian space research and development. Mr. Uttam urged the principals to support the mission and motivate their students towards the project.
Mrs. Nivedita Madkikar was invited to brief on Mission Satellite 2026. She spoke about the Bhavshika Programme which is a structured 3 years training and the culmination will be the launch of Asia's first student space satellite under the expert guidance of various former ISRO scientists. Mrs. Madkikar and her foundation core team, being on the advisory board of Indo Science Education Trust congratulated Mr. Santhosh Pise Founder & President,
Indo Science Education Trust for sharing the dream with the school Principals.
She also urged school leaders to encourage young minds into participating in this unique space odyssey. ISET is purely a non profit organisation on the look out for volunteers from science backgrounds to join in with their objectives to instigate scientific inclination in students.

Mrs. Rajkumari Agarwal, EduDrone's Chief Happiness Officer, shared her gratitude towards principals for gracing the occasion on Sunday hoping they will further the cause of the exhilarating programme.She thanked the Lokseva e School management and staff for hosting the event.
