Little Flowers Sr Sec School represented India at the Freedom to Breathing campaign

Life takes on a whole new meaning when you breathe fresh air. Life is not possible without fresh air. Fresh air is a gift that is well worth jogging for.

Little Floridians never stop looking for a remedy to air pollution.

On the 7th of May, Youth ambassadors from Little Flowers Sr Secondary School from India (Protistha and Navya), Cameroon (Godwin and Arshly), and the United Kingdom (Farron) discussed the issue of air pollution and the urgent need for the UNCRC to recognise the right to clean air.

After the welcoming of the participants by Hannah Battram(Global Action Plan UK)and Sara Alsen (Blue Air, Canada), various environmental activists and speakers from all over the world highlighted the importance of clean air for children and the need for the right to clean air for all. The speakers included Prof. Ann Skelton (South Africa), Noé Gauchard (France), Frederique Seidel (Switzerland), World Council of Churches (WCC), Prof. Elisa Morgera (United Kingdom) Mikiko Otani (Japan), Chair of the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child and many more respected dignitaries. The University of Geneva. The organisers praised the young ambassadors and motivated them to keep fighting for the right to clean air for everyone.
