Due to the Ayilyam holiday, all schools and colleges in the Alappuzha region of Kerala will be closed today, November 16. One of the most well-known festivals in Alappuzha is Mannarasala Ayilyam, which is celebrated there by devotees from all over the world at the Sree Nagaraja temple. Every year, Alappuzha's schools, colleges, and offices are closed in observance of the Ayilyam holiday. Every year, the festival is held in the months of October and November.
In the meantime, Kerala's government has started the "Goal initiative" to teach five lakh students around the state the fundamentals of football. The Sports Directorate stated in a release that "in the first phase, one lakh pupils will receive instruction for 10 days at 1,000 centres." According to news agency PTI, sports minister V Abdurahiman stated that 100 pupils who excel in the fundamental instruction will receive international-level training from foreign coaches as part of the scheme.
