EduDrone presents a session on School Leaders sharing their best online practices

Maharashtra : The afternoon of 1st August, 2021, was yet again illuminated through the 'EduDrone - WE CONNECT' platform for edu-leaders, educators and students with a series of Educational and influencing talks on the topic- 'Schools sharing their best online practices'.

This week's session witnessed some renowned and experienced edu-leaders and Principals from the field of education which included - *Mrs. Nirmal Waddan, Principal- The Kalyani School, Pune.

*Mrs. Nidhi Nijhawan, Principal- Mount Litera Zee School, Ghaziabad

*Mrs.Shanoli Ray, Principal of Satyamev Jayate Primary School, Haldia, WB.

*Along with Mr.Bezad Shroff, Director- Adventure Education, Mumbai as presenters.

The session began with moderator of the session and Founder of EduDrone- WE CONNECT, Ms. Kajal Chattija's energetic welcome of guests and sharing the best practises by educators to dwell wonderfully during pandemic by educators.


Taking the session ahead, the dice was handed over to Mr.Bezad Shroff, were he spoke about the various extravaganzas and innovative workshops conducted by Team- 'Adventure Education' to inculcate and embrace the policies under the National NEP 2020 and UN sustainable goals combined together to upskill future generation kids at international level of education.


Mrs. Nirmal Waddan, Principal, The Kalyani School, Pune, addressed the educators by sharing her school's best online practices. She highlighted the annual extravagance at Kalyani in which the entire staff left no stone unturned in enhancing 21st century skills, may it be through virtual field trips, inter school debates, Kaun Banegha Kalyani Champion, Coffee meets with teachers and parents to name a few.


Through her presentation, Mrs. Waddan took everyone present in the Zoom room and on Facebook on a virtual tour of the state of the art of The Kalyani School.


Ms. Nidhi Nijhawan, Principal, Mount Litera Zee School, Ghaziabad, very enthusiastically addressed the educators about the annual activities held in their school; young stem activities, IT sessions for teachers and students, colour days, virtual festivals, and many more engaging and informative activities conducted online for the students to showcase their talent and help students explore their thinking and presentations skills.


Mrs.Shanoli Ray, Principal of Satyamev Jayate Primary School, Haldia, WB gave an appealing presentation about the learning culture followed in the school on the series of Best Learning Practices by schools.



She thoughtfully explained the difficulties and challenges faced administering the rural school at the beginning of the pandemic situation. Then she presented the details of Practices and Activities applied for total holistic development of the students despite limited resources, which includes fitness programmes, celebration of cultural events, inter school video competitions, art and craft activities using recycled materials and creation of kitchen gardens. Apart from that she mentioned about the teamwork and support of all the stakeholders involved to make the learning highly effective. She also discussed about the various workshops related to Teacher's Empowerment Program, that is a regular feature at SJPS.

The session ended by Senior and active member of Edudrone, Mr.Sanjeev Kumar's words of wisdom for the audience, words of motivation and encouragement for Ms.Kajal for organising and bringing all educators under one platform for sharing of knowledge and happiness.

With a wish to meet soon, Ms.Kajal Chattija, thanked all the members for attending the virtual session and hoping the viewers were enthralled by the session yet again.
