Delhi International School Edge, Dwarka organised a Covid-19 vaccination drive in the school campus

New Delhi: Vaccination will be an important tool to help stop the pandemic. As stated by the United Nations, "Nobody wins the race until everybody wins". Taking one more step to keep serving the community, Delhi International School Edge, Sector-18, Dwarka organised a Covid-19 vaccination drive in the school campus in collaboration with Manipal Hospital on 6th June 2021. Covishield vaccine was given to both age groups of 18+ and 45+ ; including the second doses to the eligible people.

As a true covid warrior, the School volunteers actively counselled people to come forward and get vaccinated. The school provided smooth pre registration online with provisions for pre-booking of slots to maintain social distancing and minimise waiting period. The facilities provided included On-site Doctor, Trained Nurses, Complete emergency support with an ambulance and convenient access for the people within their vicinity.

The school staff along with the Principal were personally present to monitor the smooth functioning. One elderly couple walked up to us to specially bless us for the efforts, that momentous feeling is what the world needs today, said one of the teacher on duty.
