Delhi Government To Build School On Area Freed From Land Mafia


NEW DELHI: Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister of Delhi, on Monday lay the cornerstone for a school that would be built on property released from the control of the city's land mafia at Sunder Nagri and feature 160 rooms with modern amenities. There will be four floors and 160 rooms in the Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence, comprising 87 exquisite classrooms and four sizable classes. It will contain a hall that can accommodate hundreds of kids and eight laboratories with cutting-edge technology.


According to government representatives, the site on which the school will be built has been in the land mafia's control for a very long time. Mr. Sisodia, who is also Delhi's minister of education, spoke at the event and stated, "With the construction of a new school, a fresh flame of education will be lit in Sunder Nagri. The government has managed to release the property from the control of the land mafia, and a wonderful school will be built there."


The leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) added that people in positions of authority typically strive to seize public land for their own use. According to Mr. Sisodia, the school's construction would be finished by December. The Dr. BR Ambedkar School of Specialized Excellence, founded by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, will assist the aspirations of the students living in this area, he said. "Parents used to send their children to Kota for the preparation of JEE, NEET, but now they will have that," he said. The school, according to the deputy chief minister, would have all the modern amenities of a five-star hotel and will assist pupils advance in their jobs.
