Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022 have started for Minor subjects and the Major exams would commence from December 1, 2021. The Board has now released an important notice for Private candidates informing them that they can submit the exam forms, if they wish to from December 2, 2021 on the official website – cbse.gov.in.
CBSE has also informed Private candidates that the exams for them would be conducted only for Term 2 and not for the current term. Their final result for Board exams would be computed based on the scores of Term 2.
CBSE Board Exams 2022 forms for class 12 by Private candidates will be accepted only in online mode. According to the official notice on instructions, no application will be accepted without the payment of application fees. Check the eligibility criteria here.
CBSE 12th Board Exams 2022: Category of Private Candidates who can submit exam forms
Students may please note that the categories mentioned below have been taken from the official notice on the same. Apart from these, no other Private candidates will be allowed to submit exam forms.
Candidates who have been declared as 'Essential Repeat' in 2021 by CBSE.
Those who were placed in the 'Compartment' category in the main exam of CBSE 12th Boards 2021.
Those who have been placed in the 'Compartment' category in CBSE 12th exams of August/September 2021.
Candidates who have failed the examination in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, can also apply.
Candidates who have passed the Board Exams in 2021 but want to improve their performance.
Those who have passed out in 2020 and 2021 but now want to appear for an additional subject, can also apply.
The official notice reads, "Women candidate who is a bonafide resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT of Delhi) and has qualified Class X or an equivalent examination from any recognised Board in 2020 or earlier."
Even students of Patrachar Vidyalaya of Delhi are eligible to apply.
CBSE's notice also mentions about PwD candidates. It reads, "Physically Handicapped student who is a bonafied resident of the National Capital Territory of Delhi (NCT of Delhi) and has qualified Class X or an equivalent examination from any recognised Board in 2020 or earlier."
