AIM is hopeful of achieving the target of establishing 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs in schools in the next three months
Niti Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission hopes to construct 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in schools across the country in the next three months, according to mission director Chintan Vaishnav.
Vaishnav also stated that he is working on a five-year vision paper for the Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), the Modi government's flagship program to build and encourage a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship across the country.
"We are hopeful that we will be able to create 10,000 Atal Tinkering Labs (ATLs) in the next three months," he told PTI.
So far, AIM has established over 9,500 ATLs.The mission has been set up under the Niti Ayog in accordance with the finance minister's declaration in the 2015 Budget speech.
