On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the birth of Mahatma Gandhi, a special assembly was organised on October 1, 2019. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Aman Gupta, Deputy Commissioner – Central Zone, SDMC and the Guest of Honour was Mr. Rahul Singh, Assistant Commandant with the Central Armed Police Forces, currently on deputation as Assistant Commissioner – Central Zone, SDMC. The Principal – Ms. Deeksha Khera announced the launch of the campaign against single-use plastic in the school on this occasion. Mr. Rahul Singh, the Guest of Honour administered the pledge against single-use plastic.
